The Sunshine Blogger Award

Sitting here writing this post and still can’t believe that I have been nominated! Having only written 3 blog posts and am still very new to the whole blogging thing I really did not expect this so soon! But it’s crazy exciting! I was first of all nominated by the lovely Georgia, and it will be her questions I will be answering today. But I’d also like to thank Natalie for my second nomination! The questions i was asked:

1.If you were to collaborate with anyone for your blog, who would it be?
To be completely honest this isn’t something I have even really thought of yet. Starting my blog was a way I could put my creative writing to the test and to have something to focus on outside of work. If I had the opportunity to work with others along the way then it will be an absolute honour! I would love to think that in the next few months I can grow my blog and begin to think of collaborations.

2. What is your favourite time of year and why?
I LOVE the summer! I think being a summer baby plays a huge part in this (my birthday is in July) I feel so much better when the sun is shinning and I can put a pretty dress and a pair of sandals on! I’m so ready for the summer months!

3. Why did you decide to start blogging?
Writing is quite a big part of my 9-5 job but I don’t get to write about the things that I’m really passionate about. I decided to start my blog so that I could share my love of all things fashion and beauty with anyone that shared the same love! The blogging community has been amazing so far and I’m excited to see where my blog goes!

4. What is your dream job?
This is a tough one! Growing up I always wanted to be a dancer! Dancing was a massive part of my life but as I got older the love for it stopped. I really enjoy my current job, I work in online marketing and I love the company I work for. As for my ‘dream job’ hmmm…I’d have love to have been a special effects make up artist!

5. What do you hope to have achieved in the next 5 years?
Although I do love to plan I don’t like to think too much about where I want to be in 5 years. Anything can happen and I kinda just like to go with it! In the next year I’m hoping to buy my first house with my boyfriend and then I guess we will see where life takes us from there!

6. Do you have any quotes you live by? What are they?
There’s a quote I have on my blog ‘life is a gift love, open it up’ I think this sums things up perfectly! It is what it is, we get one chance, so live it to the full and enjoy every moment!

7. Pool or beach?
I’m am definitely a pool kinda girl! I always feel a bit grubby on a beach! Don’t get me wrong I wouldn’t be turning down the chance to be on a beach right now but if I had the choice it would be a pool!

8. How would you describe your style?
My style is fairly laid back, I wear what I like and what I feel comfortable in. I do find some of the latest fashions a little crazy and not all that practical but if I like it the I will wear it!

9. What’s one thing you love about yourself?
Im honest! I think this is a good thing, others may not! haha! I say it how it is and I really like that, it may not always be what people want to hear but I think honesty is the best way!

10. What is the most special and meaningful thing you own
I have a couple of bits of jewellery that mean alot to me. A ring that was my mums that she gave to me on my 21st which I never take off and I have a few bits that my boyfriend has bought me that really mean everything. I will always treasure them!

11. Are you someone who prefers the city or countryside?
I love a bit of both to be honest! I live in Norwich which is a city but it is surrounded in countryside! It’s not an overly big city but I love it here!
